Capacity: Fulltime
Location: Remote (100%)
Tasks:
- Work proactively on the Tickets for:
- HW Backup Devices
- HW SAN
- backup jobs
- Major Firmware update
- Operations (incident, request fulfillment…)
- Creation, configuration of backup jobs Standard
- Configuration of backup devices
- Execution of restore requests Standard and integrated
- Hardware monitoring and reporting with in the backup devices and Application software.
- Resource monitoring and reporting Standard
- Availability monitoring and reporting of infrastructure Standard
- Monitor and report Backup job result and state daily verification Standard
- Monitoring of hardware, resources and availability
- Capacity planing based upon historical resource monitoring Standard
Skills / Tools:
The current supported Backup Devices are:
- HP MSL tape libraries, Quantum tape libraries, Store Once D2D with cloud bank option AWS-S3, Quantum DXi D2D, Dell EMC Datadomain.
- For archiving is actual Fast LTA in place
- HPE Storeonce to AWS-S3
- SAN fiber channel switches are HP and Brocade and Cisco Backup application Software is Microfocus HP Data Protector V10.60 on a standardized OS on a HW or Virtual platform
- For Archiving is actual in place H&S
- Open for other Enterprise Tool e.g. Comvault, Veeam, Netbackup, Veritas
