Unser Kunde sichert mit seinen knapp 1.500 Mitarbeitern und dem stetigen Ausbau von Stromübertragungsnetzen, die Stromversorgung für 18 Millionen Menschen in Deutschland. Sein Plan ist es in den nächsten 10 Jahren bis zu 100 Prozent Erneuerbare Energien sicher ins Netz und System zu integrieren.-
Das Projekt und die Umgebung:
Die Digitale Plattform ist eine Multi-Hybrid-Cloud-Plattform, die betrieben wird, um Anwendungen zur Unterstützung der Kerngeschäftsprozesse des Mutterkonzerns auszuführen. Sie bietet ausschließlich Plattform as a Service (PaaS) für Cloud-native Anwendungen auf Basis von Kubernetes, wobei die On-Prem Private Cloud durch Microsoft Azure Cloud und Google Cloud Plattform ergänzt wird.
Neben standardisierten Container-Fähigkeiten wird EDP weitere Datendienste, wie SQL-, Zeitreihen-, Graph- und andere Datenbanken, sowie einen anderen Speicherdienst anbieten. Zusätzlich zu diesen primären Diensten wird EDP auch eine Reihe von Cloud-Management-Funktionen zur Entwicklung und Bereitstellung, Verwaltung, Prüfung und Optimierung der Multi-Cloud-Umgebung bereitstellen.
Alle Clouds nutzen die gleichen Architekturprinzipien, Pipeline-Prozesse und den grundlegenden Servicekatalog. Die Private Cloud zielt insbesondere auf das Hosting kritischer Anwendungen ab. Daher bilden die Anforderungen an die kritische Infrastruktur die Grundlage für das Design der On-Prem Private Cloud-Infrastruktur. Mit ihrem unveränderlichen Infrastrukturansatz wird die EDP modernste Cloud-Services anbieten, die auch für andere TSOs/DSOs geöffnet werden können und als Cloud für die Energiewirtschaft dienen.

The Digital Platform is a multi-hybrid cloud platform to run applications to support the core business processes. It provides only platform as a service (PaaS) for cloud-native applications based on Kubernetes.The on-prem Private Cloud is supplemented by Microsoft Azure Cloud and Google Cloud Platform.
Beside standardized container capabilities, EDP will provide further data services, such as SQL, time series, graph and other databases, as well a different storage service. Additionally, these primary services, EDP will also provide a set of cloud management features, to develop and provision, manage, audit and optimize the multi-cloud environment.
All clouds will leverage the same architecture principles, pipeline processes and basic service catalogue. The Private Cloud especially aims on hosting critical application. Therefore, the requirements for critical infrastructure are the basis for the design of the on-prem Private Cloud infrastructure. With its immutable infrastructure approach, the EDP will provide latest Cloud Services also with the perspective to be opened to other TSOs/DSOs and serve as Energy Industry Cloud.

Tasks:
Evaluate different solutions on the market and prepare decision papers and recommendations
Selection of the IAM solution for the project
Setup and operation of the selected IAM solution for the overall project
Contact person for other development teams to implement their own solutions and requirements
Attend regular project meetings
Skills:
Experience with cloud provider IDM/IAM tools, especially AD(FS) and their integration
Experience with cloud and on premise solutions
Experience with federation/replication of directory infrastructures
Be able to use Open ID Connect while sleeping (all use cases)
Experience with more than one IDM/IAM implementation if possible (Keycloak, Vault, Auth0 if possible, other commercial solutions as well)
Experience with FIDO implementation (including biometric authentication)
Technical understanding of IDM (Principal, Identity, Role, Legal and Co)
Experience with MFA implementations (authenticator apps etc)
English spoken and written (min. C1)
