Role: Freelance Data DevOps Engineer (AWS, Gitlab, CI/CD)Location: Remote / Onsite Frankfurt 1 day per week
Length: 6.5 months

You will be involved in development from a service prototype into a platform service in DevOps operation. High performance computing supports data science teams, with workflow based on functionality from the AWS Cloud.
The role:
• Provision and configuration of a CI/CD pipeline (GitLab CI)
• Implementation of concrete use cases:
o Conception, implementation and quality assurance of software components
o Preparation of target group-oriented communication and documentation of the results
o Exchange with the clients for the collection of requirements or identification of bugs
o Preparation and execution of meetings with internal teams for IT security and cloud governance
o Presentation of work results in review meetings
Target Requirements:
• Professional experience in the field of strategic and technological development of modern architectures and technologies in the fields of big data, data analysis, artificial intelligence
• Extensive project experience (at least 3 years) with AWS Cloud Infrastructures incl. IAM
• Extensive project experience with programming languages/frameworks – Python, Docker and Terraform of at least 3 proven projects
• Knowledge and experience with agile methods
• 3 years of experience in the DevOps environment, incl. CI/CD (GitLab)
• 3 years of experience with AWS services (EKS, S3, EFS, CloudWatch) in data integration, data processing, service integration and analytics
Nice to have requirements:
• The professional can demonstrate AWS experience in Lambda Functions and AWS Batch using two reference projects.
• Experience in requirements management
• Preparation and presentation of complex facts
• Architecture documentation according to arc42 standard
• Experience with MLOps systems
