Senior Solution Architect (m/w/d) - Designing/ Kotlin / Spring /Scrum / AGILEProject:
For our customer a big pharmaceutical company situated in Kaiseraugst we are searching for a highly qualified Senior Solution Architect (m/w/d)
Backgound:
As a part of Pharma Informatics, the IPPS informatics team is co-creating a better future for patients through innovative technology and information working together with Global Product Strategy (Strategic Marketing), Pharma Development Medical Affairs, and Pharma Partnering Business partners.
We are an agile organization looking for cross functional innovative and integrated solutions based on great collaboration.
The digital product is being developed to support a known business process integrating with other initiatives being developed. The process is literature review which is part of evidence generation. To be effective in this space, we are looking for team members who are willing to experiment, to connect with new applications for smart algorithms/AI, to rework and refactor as different capabilities are developed, and have an open mind when it comes to working with new challenges.
The preferred candidate will be able to design a fit for purpose architecture to support a maturing and evolving ecosystem. They will communicate clearly to elicit information and to persuade stakeholders if needed. They will work with the team to ensure feasibility, operability and maintainability of the solution aligned to the system vision.
Tasks & Responsibilities:
* Communicate and consult with the portfolio architect, business owner, SME and team to design an appropriate solution
* Participate in the team ceremonies - planning, dailies, retros and reviews
* Data modelling, state modelling, domain modelling and system modelling
* Identify opportunities for process improvements.
* Lead brainstorming sessions to develop potential solutions for business needs or problems.
* Lead data modelling, domain modelling and system modelling
* Support mini-pocs to assess technical feasibility and options to solve complex problems
Must haves:
* Min. Bachelor degree in Computer Sciences or similar
* Min. 7+ years of experience as Solution Architect or Software Engineer, preferred in the pharmaceutical industry
* Experience with designing a modern architecture (microservices)
* Hands-on experience with Data modelling physical modelling, Documenting architecture/design (SAD, DS)
* Experience with cloud based architecture using Kubernetes and Google Cloud
* Experience with Agile and SCRUM methodologies
* Fluency in English (written and spoken)
* Analytical thinking methods
* Ability to challenge the business owner
* Teamplayer
Nice to Haves:
* Experience in react, kotlin, spring, PostgreSQL to be able to support technical development team is a plus
* Previous Pharma experience
