Currently I am looking for an AWS Cloud Engineer for my Client in Munich.Brief Description: We need a (Software Developer/Data Engineer/Cloud Engineer/ML Engineer) profile with Data-Driven Orientation - Whose main activities will not only involve implementation and programming, but also finding solutions to open technical problems, gathering requirements, communicating ideas and organizing workload in a changing environment. An ideal profile is capable of organizing workload in a methodical manner, converting business problems into concrete well-defined technical actions and making them reality, by acting responsibly and independently.
Abstract thinking is valued, in a sense that there should be a mindset of solving concrete problems with general solutions that can be reused in similar problems.
This profile fits ideally well-informed generalist software experts, who can address a wide variety of needs and whose interests gear towards all areas of Software, Data and ML Engineering.
Experience on Machine Learning Operations (MLOps) topics is highly valued, as AI solutions are the center of attention.
Seniority: Semi-Senior or higher (5+ years of experience in the industry or 3+ years with justifiable knowledge on the subject)
Primary Skills (Must be present):
- Fluent English with Good, clear, loud voice communication
- AWS Cloud Engineering experience (At least: EC2, Lambda, Containerization Services, EMR) - Architecture mindset (Workflows)
- Data-Driven Skills: Storage, Batch, Streaming, Databases, Data Formats and Data Pipelines concepts knowledge
- Python software development experience
- Linux or any POSIX certified command line knowledge
- Continuous Integration (CI/CD) and Software Development practices (Clean code, security, build and deploy, etc)
At least three (3) of the following:
- Being up to date with latest software technologies, trends, well informed foundations
- Big Data and Distributed batch computing understanding (Spark, DynamoDB, Redshift)
- Real time services knowledge (Kafka, Akka, SQS, MSK, etc)
- Familiarity with Data Science concepts or Machine Learning Engineering (What is a Model, how a model is deployed, trained, Sagemaker, JupyterLabs, etc)
- Background in Agile Methodologies with Methodical Mindset when it comes to unclear problem resolution
