OrganizationOur international client – one of the largest European institutions – is undertaking a significant modernization program of its existing IT landscape including network and data centres. This includes a significant redesign of their network infrastructure on various European based locations.
Function
As a Network and Date Center Specialist you will be designing, implementing and managing the NW infrastructure of our customer with a specific focus on the routing and switching infrastructure.

Requirements
Technical skills:
• Design, Re-design and implementation of different network components in the WAN, LAN and Wireless services. This includes DNS, NAC and network segregation technologies.
• Relevant Infrastructure and Systems
• Cisco routers and switches with ACI implementation. F5 Load balancing. DHCP/DNS services are provided by Infoblox equipment.
Knowledge / Experience required:
• Excellent communication skills in German, English. Knowledge of the Dutch and French language is a pré
• Strong analytical, organisational skills and the ability to interact with all levels of the (customer) organisation
• Proven success in contributing to a team-oriented environment
• Articulate in explaining technical issues and challenges to a layman audience
• Experience in a Service Oriented Architecture provider
• Minimum 5 years of experience in LAN/WAN/VPN infrastructure – predominantly based on Cisco technology
• CCIE level required
• Sufficient operational experience at minimum level of SFIA NTAS level 5.
Offer
Location: Most of your activities will be done on-site at customer location in Munchen, Germany.
Start Date: October 2021
Contract: Duration 1,5 year with the possibility of multiple extensions
