Azure Cloud Architect (m/f/d)

Main tasks:
- Responsible for guiding, governing, designing enforcing cloud / infrastructure related designs for new (cloud-native) applications as well as existing business applications which are planned to migrate from the on-premises datacenters to MS Azure
- Furthermore, the Cloud Architect will be responsible for growing the central cloud platform and constantly establishing standards and architecture principles to which projects need to adhere to make the most of the established platforms
Main qualifications
- Previous migration, platform, governance experience and a thorough understanding of cloud terms and definitions
- Know-how regarding MS, Azure, Enterprise Azure Subscription concepts (EA enrollment, Account, Subscription management), Cloud/Azure Security best practices (Azure Security Baseline, CIS Azure Benchmark)
- Experience with Azure Security Center, Azure Policies, Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, Azure Databases (PaaS/DBaaS, incl. Azure DB Managed Instances, Azure DB for Postgres, MariaDB), Azure PowerShell, Azure App Service (Web Apps,ASE), Azure DevOps
- Experience with security concepts (Encryption capabilities, Azure Disk Encryption, SSE, Azure KeyVaults, Bring your own Key/HSM)
- Experience with Enterprise Architecture methodology and tooling
- Proficient level of spoken and written English
- Previous design experience with respect to new application services in Azure
- Previous design experience with respect to application migrations
- Azure provisioning experience
- Good knowledge of IAM (Identity and Access Management)
- Good knowledge of network security (perimeter security requirements, firewall rule definitions etc. )
- Good knowledge and experience working with large Agile project teams
- Good working knowledge of Azure DevOps for repository and Agile project collaboration
- Skills to produce enterprise ready architecture documents
