Senior Software Architect (m/w/d)Role
As a software architect you are responsible for the specification, architecture, and the design of software architectures of a in-car infotainment system and its components such as middleware, frameworks and applications that communicate with cloud services
The role of a software architect requires a close cooperation with experts from different areas such as system architecture, hardware architecture, security and safety and other domain experts
Responsibilities
Creation of future oriented, state of the art software architectures for interconnected embedded software components
Drive technical requirements clarification with stakeholders, Automotive OEM and supplier side
Responsibility for the software architecture from the design until the SOP
Ensure robustness, performance, and security aspects within the software design
Profile
University degree in Computer Science.
Experience in developing software in C/C++, Java, Kotlin or similar
Ability to break down complex problems and projects and find a good solution that fits nicely with the overall ECU.
Expert knowledge in many of these areas: Linux/Android system programming, middleware, security, networking, virtualization, multi-platform development including Android
Ability to manage and understand complex architectural designs
Minimum of 5 years of experience as software architect
ldeally a practical work experience in automotive environments. Automotive safety knowledge is a plus
Experienced in working autonomously within and agile environment with Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery
Good language skills in English. written and spoken
Excellent communication and good presentation skills
