We are seeking hands on “Data Architect (m/f/d)”who has vast experience in visualizing the complete framework and creating the blueprint to build data digital framework (Data Lake) for our customer in the energy sector with the following basic conditions:Start: asap
Duration: 6 months+
Location: remote in the beginning (location strictly in EU)
Düsseldorf + remote (2 days onsite +remote from September)
Key Requirements
• Minimum of 5 years‘ experience in Data Management and Architecture, Cloud Data Analytic Platform, Data Warehouse, Agile Data Factory on Microsoft Azure with references
• Very good undertsanding hands on experience in Snowflake ETL and Talend Data Integration tool.
Snowflake (over 3 years running now) supports both transformation during (ETL) or after loading (ELT). Snowflake Cloud Data Platform works with a wide range of data integration tools, including Informatica, Talend, Tableau, Matillion and others).
SkillsSet
• Experience in Data Design, Data Strategy and Data Management and Data Delivery building a Data Lake.
• Hands on experience via Microsoft Azure Cloud working with python, Kubernetes, Hard core, Docker system.
• Design and implement database and data warehouse components to enable best-in-class Data Lifecycle Management (DLM)
• Proven experience in Data Modeling, including translating business requirements into logical and physical data models.
• Experience visualizing and optimizing complex big data and BI systems using native services (Azure), Cloud Storage, Dataflow, Big Query, Dataproc, Datastore, Datafusion, Composer, CDAP, Talend, Snowflake DB, deployment in the cloud
• Experience/knowledge of Big Data frameworks/tools/technologies: ETL, EMR, Kafka, Spark, Python, PIG, etc.
• Able to create and maintain an optimal data pipeline architecture, assemble large, complex data sets that meet functional / non-functional business requirements, applications, employing data modelling practices
• Proven experience in Data Modelling, including translating business requirements into logical and physical data models.
• Advanced technical knowledge and background in Data Lifecycle Management, Data Governance, Data Quality, Data Migration and Data Integration (ETL).
• Proven understanding of various Relational Database Management System (RDBMS)
• Experience working in a cloud-based solution is a must
• Ability to engage with client stakeholders at all levels with strong written and verbal communication skills.
Preferred
• At least 1-year experience in Snowflake Database and Talend Data Integration Tools building a Data Lake.
