For an international customer we are currently looking for a Senior SW-Developer (f/m/d) in the fields of Data Science.Your task will be:
• Jointly, with a team of highly skilled colleagues, execute tasks in the field of data management and content delivery in an agile environment
• Develop highly scalable, multi-threaded, multi-tenant microservices and supporting SDKs
• Contribute to our code base by implementing new features, review code, and refactor existing solutions
• Support the data scientists in modelling their domain knowledge.
• Support requirements engineering efforts
• In collaboration with front end developers, create full-stack solutions that provide portals into the vast amount of data we handle daily
Following Know-how is required:
• Educated to at least degree level in a relevant discipline such as Computer Science; Specialization in the fields of Data Science would be a plus
• 3 years of practical, relevant experience of data management systems. Classical systems are integral, but for this post document-based and NoSQL systems experience is are a must
• Hands-on experience of designing and implementing data management systems for on premise and cloud infrastructures, preferred
• Python wizard and test-driven development skills
• Extensive knowledge designing and implementing REST APIs in distributed backend architectures
• Hands-on experiences with cloud-based but also hybrid infrastructures powering DMS are sought
• Track record of problem solving and innovation
• Strong attention to detail while multi-tasking and skilled at prioritization
• Ability to think independently and to take the initiative to solve problems
