I am currently seeking a number of Stress Engineers to work with my client based near Munich, Germany on a contract basis. Some key information regarding the position is as follows:
The Company
My client is a well known, established company within the Aerospace sector that specialises in providing consultancy based services to their companies such as Airbus, Bombardier, Boeing and many others.
Following a recent increase in projects, they are now seeking candidates to join their team on an initial 6 month contract with view to extend for some time.
The Project
There are several projects available depending on your skills & experience so I am unable to give detailed information regarding this. However, what I am able to advise is that my client is ideally seeking candidates that have Fatigue & Damage Tolerance knowledge, particularly on fuselage.
Rate:
The rate is entirely Dependent on skills & experience but will generally range between €40-€70 per hour.
Requirements
Due to the above, I am therefore seeking candidates with the following skills & experience:
*Nastran/Patran Knowledge
*Extensive Fatigue & Damage Tolerance experience and knowledge
*Experience with hand calcs.
*Ideally, fuselage experience
*Familiarity with tools such as ISAMI (airbus) or other OEM specific packages could be an advantage but is not essential
*The technical language is in English so this is an essential for the position, German skills would be an advantage but again, is not essential.
