Role: Test Engineer (m/f)
Location: Berlin, Germany
Hiring Mode: Contractual
Duration: 2-3 months
Experience : 2-3 years
Short Description: Conducts the content related design and execution test activities and ensures high-quality design and implementation of the test environment.
Tasks and responsibilities:
• Conducts test scenarios and test steps to check for excepted test result fulfilment
• Supports test manager during test planning, test design and reporting of test results and errors
• Develops an understanding of the role of testing within system development, as a tool for design improvement as well as a validation process
• Supports during the design of test cases based on the analysis of functional and technical designs
• Defines test conditions for given requirements. Designs test cases and creates test scripts and supporting data, working to the specifications provided
• Aligns with Test Automation Engineer to minimize manual testing
• Executes functional and technical tests, incl. analysis of results and the documentation of deviations / errors
• Supports during the configuration of the test environment, especially the provisioning of test objects and test data as well as the set-up of test users and access privileges with the Product Manager
