For our customer within the medical sector, we are searching to fill the position for the location Munich as
Supplier Quality Engineer (m/f) on Freelance basis
This a Projekt on a Freelance Basis, starting date is immediately. Duration is at least for 3-4 months.
Tasks:
- Manage supplier quality audit process, including establishing requirements, setting priorities and determining audit frequency
- Monitor and analyze supplier data internally and externally gathered to identify trends and prevent potential problems
- Manage the Control and Manufacturing Process Change with the suppliers
- Use Statistical Process Control (SPC), Advanced Quality Process (AQP) tools and metrics proactively to identify and help implement improvement to supplier quality, supplier quality tools and processes
- Work directly with the suppliers and create correction action plans to address process failures
- Participate in cross-functional teams in the development of new products or changes related to current products in meeting customer requirements
- Lead quality audits
Skills required:
- Professional experience in the medical devices or automotive industry
- Knowledge of statistical/data analysis & report-writing skills (Minitab experience beneficial)
- Ability to work in a highly matrixed and multi-national business environment
- Regular travel activities necessary
- Fluent knowledge of German and English language skills
