Senior Software (Java+Front End) Engineer
RESPONSIBILITIES:
We currently have an opening for a Senior Software (Java+Front End) Engineer, a fast growing software advertising company in Frankfurt. The qualified candidate will have current and proven Java/Web development experience. The new Senior Software (Java + Front End) Engineer will participate and providing guidance on all facets of the software development life cycle as a key team member. If you have the ability to excel in a fast paced environment, and like to spread the knowledge by mentoring and training other engineers this may be the role for you. REQUIREMENTS:
* 7+ years experience as a software engineer
* Strong Object Oriented Design and programming skills
* Relevant and recent Java coding experience along with Front End experience (ideally Angular or Bootstrap)
* Proficient with standard SCM and build tools such as Subversion/Git, Maven, etc
* Excellent communications skills; interact with customers, partners, senior management and other team members professionally, in writing, in person, and virtually, as necessary
* Ability to think and act independently as well as self-motivate
Pluses:
* BS/MS in Computer Science or a related field
* Experience developing web services
* Experience working with HTML5 or CSS3
* Experience with REST
* Experience with Spring
