As Lead Mobile Developer, you will actively help to shape an exciting area of my clients development phase, and will be the driving force in the development and improvement of a market leading idea that has found its realisation in the form of a mobile application.
You will work with a team of product managers, developers and marketing specialists as well as graphic designers.
This role does not allow for any remote work, you will be required on site full time. You must also be a resident of Berlin or the surrounding areas. Certainly applications outside Germany will not be considered, and may not be answered.
Your Tasks
- You will lead a the development phase of either Android or iOS application building
- You are responsible for the design and implementation of the project, relative to the specific technology in which you are experienced
- Ensure that teams follow architectural guidelines and deliver high quality code
- Identify weaknesses and optimize functionality and performance
- Contribute to all phases of our development cycle (analysis, design, implementation, test)
What we expect
- A completed university degree in computer engineering, computer science or similar
- Substantial experience with mobile development and at least 3 years of experience as a developer specialising in one of the two platforms
- Experience with different programming languages, particularly with long-term focus object-orientated programming (Objective-C - Java)
- Commitment to test-driven development and continuous integration
- Strong sense of ownership and responsibility for code quality that follows best practices
