Role: Infrastructure Design Architect
Location: Darmstadt, Germany
Duration: 6 months+
JD:
- Produce Architectural and technical documentation that describes the Organization infrastructure landscape at a high level, through the use of architectural blueprints and solution build blocks. Target infrastructure architecture including vision, patterns, standards and roadmaps, which align with organization business/IT strategy and visions
- Identifying and documents project risk, issues, assumptions and dependencies and the design decisions in the documents.
- Translate business requirements into high level infrastructure designs produce solution design documentation such as Architectural Overview (AO) Vision and Architectural Description (AD) and diagrams using Visio and Rational Software Architecture Topology Models (RSA-TM)
- Ensure that proposed architecture and designs are compliant with bank standards, policies, roadmaps as well as relevant external regulations and legislation.
- Support the Business in identifying and assessing plans and opportunities for proposition development, ensuring that all viable alternatives and design options are explored fully.
- Provide technical oversight across the project life cycle to ensure that infrastructure solutions are implemented as designed.
- Actively engaged in technology selection processes including proof of concept to ensure new products align with organization standards, policies and roadmaps as well as managing the adoption through organization governance processes.
- Identifying demand for resources for projects and overall change portfolio including working with project management and Group IT peers to ensure project demand is met and resources are allocated and assigned
