We are looking for a skilled individual for the position of Data Analyst/Big Data Developer (NOSQL/Real Time Data Handling) experience to begin working at our company head quarters in Hamburg as soon as possible.
This position is for a six year contract with the posability of further extension after six months.
There is also the opotion to transfer to a permanent position if desired.
This is a urgent position suitable for a skilled individual with experience as a Big Data Developer/Data Analyst preferably with experience handling Real Time Data Streams.
The role would include the posability to have four days at the company headquarters with one day a week based from your own home office.
You will be joining our rapidly growing business inteligence team and helping develop the next big advancement in the world of Big Data and Data Analyse.
We are not looking for some one to simply process data but rather to take it all in and develop new and exciting ways to handle Real Time data, new approaches in the field of Big Data and to develop the approach of the company in theses areas.
You will need to be innovative, creative and above all passionate for the world of Big Data
For the position of Data Analyst/Big Data Developer you are expected to have the following skills and experiences in your profile:
- Two years or more practical experience with Big Data technologies and streaming analytics, complex event processing and Real Time analytics.
- Experience with Apache technologies such as Storm, Trident, Cassandra DB and Kafka are a benefit for cadidates applying for this position
- A Masters Degree or Equivalent experience in computer science or similar areas.
- A strong practical experience with micro services
- Experience with the deployment of micro services inDocker containers and continuous delivery pipelines.
- Two years of practical working knowledge of NoSQL databases - Specifically practical experience using tools such as Cassandra DB, Database Layout and administration.
- Experience working with Java and Java Development technologies
- Fluent German C1 or higher is ESSENTIAL for this position
- A good level of spoken English B1 or higher is ESSENTIAL for this position
- Candidates must be able to travel and work with in Germany and the European Union WITHOUT restrictions.
