Video Systems Engineer - Koblenz/Frankfurt
Our client, a global in telecommunications and infrastructure consulting giant, is looking for an experienced Video Systems Engineer to join a growing team of professionals in the automotive sector. The role is based in Koblenz, near Frankfurt in Germany, on a long term contract basis with a good rate and opportunity to further extend the contract as the business expands. This role is ideal for an experienced Systems Engineer, with hands on experience in Video systems engineering
The role will be responsible for systems development of vide-based driver assistance functions for the automotive industry.
For our customer, we are looking for a Video Systems Engineer with 6+ years of experience and strong team player. The role is mainly based in Reading but will require occasional international travel to other vendor and client sites.
Additional skills and requirements include;
*Develop and maintain the project transition roadmap
*Analyse the requirements of camera-based systems
*Experience in systems architecture as well as SysML/UML
*Experience with image processing and video-based driver systems
*Complete total risk analysis for managing a smooth transition period
*Hold a good understanding of telecoms managed services processes and where possible, network architecture
Personal Skills;
*Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science of a similar field of study
*Proven experience leading and driving development processes forward
*Ability to work freely in the EU as some overseas travel is required
*Strong team player
*Hands-on and 'can-do' attitude
*Fluent in German
