Job Description:
Technology used: The technology which is to be reviewed, designed and implement is as follows:
CISCO: All types of Switches and Routers incl. NEXUS 5 series
CISCO: Firewall Service Module
TDT Router/TDT C1550
All IOS Versions and NX-OS
All protocols
Undergraduate Computer Science Degree or equivalent work experience 4-8 years of relevant IT experience with 1-3 in data networking
Strong knowledge of large highly redundant distributed networks, related hardware and software components, network and design architecture, Routers/Switches, as well as MPLS and Internet VPN connectivity solutions
Strong interpersonal and presentation skills required, both oral and written, with the ability to articulate and educate others about complex technology
Flexible hours based on a milestone driven test/product development cycle
Strong experience in network design, including WAN, transport, VoIP, VPN, and Firewalls Demonstrated Knowledge in TCP/IP,EIGRP BGP, and a solid understanding of MPLS Industry standard certifications are a strong plus (CCIE, CCNP)
Background in large enterprise environments
