WAF Specialist
Tasks/job description:
- Support DBAG WAF replacement initiatives (Product selection, concept definition, network design, implementation)
Deliverables
- As-Is analysis of current state of DBAG WAF implementation, gaps, issues, risks.
- Requirements Document detailing the requirements and scope.
- Concept document detailing the conceptual solution
- Market review of best in class products suitable for DBG
- POC design and test scenarios for key features and functions.
- POC product evaluation criteria and results document
- Technical Acceptance Testing scenarios
- Architecture document for selected product
- Policy Configuration documented
- Pilot design and deployment
- Production deployment.
- Process documentation - Roles and responsibilities, Policy update workflows etc
Experience:
- 4-6 years experience in IT security with Web Security and Application Load-Balancing expertise
Qualifications & mandatory skills:
- Excellent knowledge of Web Applications Security technologies (Penetration Testing expertise)
- Excellent knowledge of several Web application services (web threat landscape & protection methods, security baselines)
- Excellent knowledge of several WAF market players with hands-on (large deployments)
- Good Knowledge of Load-Balancing concepts and application delivery controller
Essential interpersonal skills:
- Ability to work with international teams and to travel on a regular basis (to Luxembourg mainly)
- Good negotiation skills
This project will involve frequent travel to Luxembourg, Fluent in German or French will be considered an advantage.
