Our client is looking for a PostgreSQL DBA for a project in Berlin (or part remote work could be a possibility)
The project
- You will be working within the team to plan, build, maintian and monitor their infrastructure of databases
- You will be working in different types of database optimizations, upgrades, provisioning and incidents
- Helping developers make better use of the databases
- Keeping documentation up to date and relevant
- Root cause analysis and troubleshooting
Your profile
- Strong Linux experience
- Strong PostgreSQL experience
- Knowledge of writing and analysing SQL
- Know how to replicate databases
- Scripting - especially bash
- You are able to search, find and fix problems in the database layer
- Strong attention to keep the database up and running
