System Engineer - Head-Up Display (m/f)
We are looking for an experienced System Engineer (m/f) for Head-Up Displays in automotive infotainment projects for an influential client in the Frankfurt area
Your Responsibilities:
Your role will include
- Acting as the single customer contact point for all head-up display matters
- Analyse and clarify customer requirements and create internal specifications for the development team
- Evaluate and create an internal specification of Customer Change Requests
- Follow the development progress and ensure that the feature is rolled out and launched on the market in time
- Review and ensure (together with the assigned system integrator) that the verification of the implemented features is done correctly by the system test team
- In case of complicated requirements, support development in selecting the right design and system test to create the right test case
- Analyse issue reports
- Organize and lead customer workshops together with a global development team
- Understand the business strategy of the company
Your Profile:
You come from a solid background with development and requirements engineering of Embedded systems preferably in the area of infotainment systems and have:
- Experience with Head-Up Displays and Radio Systems (AM/FM, DAB)
- Experience with Traffic services/protocols such as RDS TMC, RTTD, TPEG
- Experience in HMI specification creation and good knowledge about HMI and Interface integration into the vehicle
- Industry experience should be at least 3 years and include the automotive area in general
- Good negotiation skills
- Solution oriented thinking
- ideally: some leadership experience with coordinationg small teams
- English: mandatory, German: advantageous
