Your responsibilities
• Technical competency lead for all IT related topics within the company.
• Plan and manage the day-to-day operations of the information technology.
• Identify, define, and execute maintenance and development activities for the IT systems and process areas.
• Interact interdisciplinary with all operational units of the company to help deliver information technology as a process enabler and cost reduction tool, thereby supporting the demand management for IT based solutions.
• Guarantee stable, safe, and secure operation of the IT infrastructure within the regulatory framework applicable to pharmaceutical industries.
• Provide support and problem solving to users, including training sessions as needed.
• Monitor and identify new technologies to enhance the IT’s effectiveness in driving the company’s growth.
• Manage external information technology suppliers at all levels, from initial selection, contract and commercial discussions, as well as service delivery and service level management.
Your skill profile
• Preferably coming from an academic background, information technology is part of your life, ideally paired with an open minded, high level culture attitude.
• Fluent English is mandatory, German language skills (mother tongue or as second language) would be helpful, additional languages are welcome in our international team.
• You are a strong team player, passionate to support and convince others on the advantages of modern information flow design and usage to drive the business forward.
• Technologically, you breathe Microsoft solutions, be it on the infrastructure or business side, including five or more years of operational experience with
o Windows based client/server environments and required underlying technologies,
o Active Directory, Exchange, SharePoint, Lync, SQL, Office, Dynamics Navision & CRM,
o IT Project setup, management, and execution, including external resources.
• On the management side, you are used to take on responsibility, provide excellent oral and written communication skills, and are prepared to take additional IT staff on board as needed.
• The position will be based at Bexbach, Germany.
