Software Integration Engineer (Autosar Configuration/Autosar Integration Engineer) - Freelance
Experience Level: 3-6 years
Work Location: Stuttgart
Contract duration: 9-12 months
My client is a well known manufacturer of mobile communication and data transmission systems for the automotive industry in Germany and internationally. They are looking for a Software Engineer experienced in AUTOSAR configuration/integration. Previous experience in Project Management will be of huge advantage.
Responsibilities
- You will be responsible for planning and implementation of the integration of internal and external software components
- Development of strategies to secure integration
- Diagnose, troubleshoot, and support AUTOSAR (MICROSAR) Embedded software system (eg OS, RTE, BSW modules) as well as application software components.
- Liaison with other SW teams and customers throughout the software development process.
Qualifications
- BS EE/CE/CS or equivalent education/experience required
- Strong understanding of C programming in Embedded environments
- Working knowledge of in-vehicle networks such as CAN and LIN communications
- Ability to work and collaborate in a team environment working on a variety of responsibilities and projects.
Key Skills
- Familiar with AUTOSAR concepts, architecture, specifications, as well as configuration tools.
- Experience with integrating Vector Embedded software systems.
- Experienced with automotive Real Time Operating System (OSEK).
- Experience with Vector products (CANoe, CANalyzer, vFlash, CANape, etc)
- Experience with configuration management software (SVN, GIT, etc)
- German Language - written and spoken is a must!
