Senior Talend Data Integration consultant - ETL integration - Hannover
My client is looking for a Talend Developer (Data Integration/Application Integration) to work on the development of the Middleware supporting their new platform.
The Talend Developer will be create and manage Talend Data Integration jobs, along with Talend ESB routes and services. You will be degree educated (computer science preferable) and have a background in at least two of the following; ETL, Application Integration, SQL, Java. You will be involved in the design, build and testing of ETL and ESB jobs/services/routes, so any experience of project work will be a massive advantage.
Technical Requirements
- ETL Development skills, Talend ETL experience preferred
- Application Integration skills (Talend ESB) an advantage
- Basic SQL skills (MS SQL preferably)
- Must be able to read/write simple Java code and debug using Java error stacks
- Any experience working with Apache Software Foundation projects (Apache Camel, Apache Karaf, etc) an advantage, but not essential
The Talend Developer will need to be comfortable working on your own and as part of a team. You must be self- motivated and be comfortable communicating with both technical and non-technical team members. You must be comfortable with learning new technologies while working with them and be keen to take ownership of the Middleware once in BAU.
