Technical Test Lead – Test Environment Management (m/w) in Düsseldorf

Laufzeit: 3 Monate

Jobbeschreibung:
In the role of Technical Test Lead…
• you will act as a Test Environment Management lead to setup and govern the Test Environments in client’s landscape
• Release Management skills are required in order to align Test Environment Management strategy formulation in alignment to Release Management strategy
• You will conduct as is analysis of test environments, define test environment management strategy & design and lead the environment management team to guarantee better utilization and availability of test environments
• You will also be required to design an optimal test environment to simulate real-time scenarios

• Willingness to travel (job may require few travels within Germany)
Qualifications
Basic
• Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education
• At least 10 years of experience with IT
Preferred
• Experience in leading Test Environment Management OR expertize working as Environment Coordinator.
• Ability to lead test environment utilization optimization efforts with a strong command of test environment demand analysis, issues and the ability to direct issues to component owners (network, database, appdev, server OS/WAS, storage, etc.)
• At least 6 years of experience in Test Environment Management and Release Management
• Test Environment management and Release Management experience should be back by expertize in relevant tools like Plutora, Enov8
• At least 4 years of experience in release planning and environment demand assessment
• Basic working understanding of source code management.
• At least 3 years of experience in Incident Management & Change Management activities including relevant expertise in ITSM tools like BMC Remedy, Service Now, etc.
• Expertise in tool evaluation and conducting POCs
• Experience in analyzing demand and contentions of Test Environment while working with Waterfall/Agile project models.
• Good understanding of waterfall and agile testing models.
• Excellent communication skills in German and English is a must
• Test coordination and reporting
• Communication and Analytical skills
• The job entails sitting as well as working at a computer for extended periods of time. Should be able to communicate by telephone, email or face to face

Nice to have
• Experience in Test Batch planning and execution (mainframe/AS400/UNIX/etc.)
• Production support experience and understanding of application lifecycle.
• Knowledge of L1 trouble shooting (SPLUNK log analysis, etc.) is preferred.
• Understanding of infrastructure set up for the test environments
• Should have strong co-ordination, communication & reporting, analytical skills
• Ability to work in team in diverse/ multiple stakeholder environment
• Experience and desire to work in a Global delivery environment
