Software Engineer - Analog/Mixed Signal (m/f)

For our client, Europe's largest Engineering Company we are looking for a - Software Engineer - Analog/Mixed Signal (m/f) on a freelance/temporary basis for Munich, Germany
Project Start: ASAP
Project duration: 12 Months +
Location: Munich
Contract Type: Temporary preferred, Freelance considered with right profile
Languages: English (German nice to have)
Our client has recently acquired multiple work packages from various end customers and requires a Software Engineer - Analog/Mixed Signal to help create designs, concepts and description of test cases based upon client specifications.
Main Tasks:
* Responsible for concept, design (architecture) and description of test cases based on verification requirements delivered by platform, concept and design teams
* Responsible for the implementation of test cases in Matlab using a provided test framework
* Responsible for the development of test cases in C++ (dependent on client requirement)
* Able to analyse and identify root causes of PMIC issues while being able to deliver ideas of possible work around and bug fixing solutions
* Responsible to design and implement low level instrumentation software for verification test benches.
* Provide training to engineers and designers including measurements and software
Requirements:
* Graduate (BS/MS) in Electrical Engineering or Information Technology
* Good understanding of basic analogue circuitry
* Power management skills (DCDC buck/boost converter/ADC/LDO)
* Experience with lab equipment desired (mixed signal digital oscilloscope, supplies)
* Programming skills in Matlab Script Language/C++ is required
* Software development and version control knowhow nice to have
* Fluent English is desired
* Good team communication skills
* Willing to take responsibility
* Experience installing CAD software
Languages:
Written and spoken English know-how is demanded, all documentation will be in English
