Solution Architect/Technical Lead

One of our leading clients based in Dusseldorf, Germany is looking for a Solution Architect/Technical Lead with a global telco client. Our client is looking for someone who can Design Back End and Front End components (full-stack development), content management pipeline, MVC Web app, NoSQL Data storage, integration with various Legacy systems like APIGEE API Management Platform, Ticketing tools, etc

  • Also to Align and drive high quality technical decisions together with the team and ensure compliance with agreed conventions, standards and best-practices in general
  • Technical design of product features and end-to-end solutions and documentation (eg wireframes, OOA/D, data structures, Coaching and mentorship for team-members on technology stack and implementation details
  • Support on infrastructure architecture and sizing of staged hosting environments.
  • Experience with hosting in AWS as well as Legacy datacenter environments.
  • Full stack web development expertise and experience with a strong understanding of common web application frameworks.

The final product will utilize a variety of technologies and concepts for which experience shall be demonstrated:

  • Ruby on Rails including unit testing using minitest as well as RSpec/Capybara/Cucumber (required)
  • RESTful APIs from a consumer and provider perspective (required)
  • PHP and Symfony2 including PHP Unit
  • NoSQL (MongoDB, required) and SQL Databases (Postgres)
  • HTML/CSS/Javascript, JQuery, Javascript Frameworks (required)
  • Drupal 8 Content Management System
  • Data Visualization such as Highchart or D3
  • Application Security, Various Authentication Profiles, Logins, 2FA, Session Handling
  • DevOps skill- and mindset for supporting with containerizing the environments and automating the develop/test/release cycle using Jenkins
  • General Linux command line familiarity
  • Refactoring and establishing of high codebase quality
