A niche player within IoT is looking to hire a contract/freelance Development Operations Engineer. This will suit an Engineer/developer looking to move into DevOps type roles or somebody who has already made the move. Coding experience in one or more of Golang/Java/Python/NodeJS is required. Setting up Kubernetes clusters running on Docker containers is also a must - the cloud platforms in play are AWS and Google Cloud Platform/GCP.
There is a heavy data element to this to help analyse, structure and utilise data collated from frontends.
The client offer flexible working hours and remote working 1-2 days a week. They also offer a professional structured and well documented environment so developers can focus on tasks at hand.
Senior DevOps Engineer - key skills
- Coding experience in Golang/NodeJs/Python/Clojure/Java
- DevOps/Continuous Integration
- Docker & Kubernetes experience
- AWS/GCP experience
- Experience in Data heavy environments
- Strong communication experience
