Responsibility
Participate in Sprint and backlog planning
Create an understand of overall Middleware architecture, support the teams at onsite & offshore with new feature development, enhancement & support
Liaison with DT technical, business & delivery teams to ensure there are no gaps in understanding the requirement
Identify Performance challenges and other NFR and provide alternatives
Review & reporting
Support the team in triage and troubleshooting
Support product Owner in creating the backlog and user stories.
Working closely with offshore teams in sprint deliveries & providing technical clarifications

Experience of design & Implementation of Media applications and Middleware for STB/IPTV client devices
Experience with IPTV Middleware, Conditional Access (CA) and Digital Rights Management (DRM) systems.

Ensure all R&D center are on the common branch and sanity of the main trunk.

Features design and development & validation as part of integrated scrum team.

Critical Skills
Experience of design & Implementation of Media applications and Middleware for STB/IPTV client devices
Experience developing software using C/C++ and POSIX in Linux environment
Knowledge of video streaming protocols, DVB, IPTV.
Knowledge of open source browser technology, Webkit, GTK
Knowledge of Jenkins or other CI orchestration software.
Experience with distributed version control systems and knowledge of branching/merging strategies. GIT/GERRIT
Understanding of video/audio hardware to perform decoding, transcoding, playback, recording and streaming of content (HLS, MPEG DASH, etc.
Experience with Conditional Access (CA) and Digital Rights Management (DRM), HDMI, DTCP-IP, DLNA
