Projektbeschreibung/Aufgaben/Rolle:
Process and analyze huge set of time series data for time series predictions, condition monitoring, state change detection on Hadoop clusters.
Implement batch data ingesting methods including cleaning and pre-processing.
Program advanced analytical functions using machine learning in Python, pySpark, Spark and SQL.
Develop new advanced algorithms for clustering time series, time series prediction, event detection, outlier detection.
Communicate and visualise the results effectively.

Skills/Hinweise:
Fach-Skills:
Ph.D. or master degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, or related technical discipline.
Minimum 3 years working experience as a data scientist
Extensive knowledge in statistics, machine learning, time series analysis and data mining.
Minimum 2 years track record of implementing advanced data analytics in Python with dataframes and SQL. PySpark is considered as a plus.
Indeally familiar working on cloud platforms (AWS or Azure)
Used to work with Git, Jira, Confluence in agile scrum teams.
