Guten Tag,

wir die alphaBit GmbH, ein in Wiesbaden ansässiges IT-Unternehmen sind derzeit auf der Suche nach einem Technology Specialist - Local Office Support, der einen Kunden in Hamburg temporär unterstützen kann. Nachfolgend die Aufgabenbeschreibung und erforderlichen Skills:

IT support professional who responds to incidents escalated by the service desk, or by direct contact by customers, that are related to customer equipment, computer equipment, network and telecommunication equipment.
Functions as a single point of contact to coordinate IT resources to assist employees accomplish their assignments and obtaining needed technology support.

Responsibilities:
- Deployment, support and troubleshooting of mobility Technology
- Works with all Brown-Forman resources (locally and Louisville, Ky) as needed
- Uses the CA Service Desk to record all incidents and work activities
- Respond to Service Desk tickets meeting or exceeded existing SLAs
- Deployment, support and troubleshooting of all PC related equipment. This includes, but is not limited to: desktop PCs, laptops, PC peripherals and Printers
- Deployment, support and troubleshooting of networking equipment at the direction of the Louisville based Network Management Team
- Procurement and imaging of PCs , laptops and other computer Equipment
- Deployment, support and troubleshooting of PC based Applications
- This includes, but is not limited to Microsoft Windows, Microsoft Office, Google Applications such as ; Gmail, Gcal, Docs, Sheets etc, Shrink-wrapped applications, Development Tools and internal applications
- Deployment, support and troubleshooting of Wireless Devices. This includes, but is not limited to: Blackberry and Smartphone devices, Cell phones and Air Cards
- Support and troubleshooting of Video Conferencing Systems and Audio-Visual Support for meetings and internal Events
- Work closely with the Service Desk to ensure resolution of end user computing problems or requests in a timely Fashion
- Participate in the testing of new applications, patches and hot fixes. Keeps skills updated on supported products
- Demonstrates the ability to self-sustain and improve personal knowledge base through attending classes, self-study, on the job training, etc.

Required Skills and Experience:
- Minimum 2 years of computer support experience
- Must be able to read and comprehend the English language and speak the regional language
- Strong computer skills necessary in Microsoft Office Suite
- Apple Technology (iPhone, Ipad) experience is required
- Android experience and knowledge is a Bonus
- Demonstrated skills with Google Apps such as Gmail, Gcal, Google Docs, Google Drive etc.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent people skills with ability to handle difficult situations
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Ability to multitask and prioritize
- Keen attention to detail, with a commitment to follow through and follow-up
- Must be able to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical audiences and interact with all types of clients including technology, business, management and executive Management
- Must be a self-starter with the ability to work independently and in a collaborative team Environment
- Must be able to act in a professional manner in all situations

Language: Must be able to communicate in the Office’s native language as well as English.

Desired Skills and Experience:
- Android experience and knowledge is a Bonus
- Cisco Wireless Technology Cisco Silver Certificate is a plus
- Knowledge of VOIP technology
- Knowledge of VPN Technology
- Knowledge of ASA & Cisco Security

The customer is looking for a part-time IT Support Person (Desk Side Technician) to work 24 hours weekly.
The work schedule will be 9:00am - 6:00pm - Monday, Wednesday, Thursday.
