Web Developer - AEM
Whitehall resources are currently recruiting for a Web Developer for our client in Germany.
Start: 15.09.2017
End: 14.12.2017
Location: On site in NRW
Working hours: 30 hours per week
General project description:
The client operates a Web Content Management System based on the product Adobe Experience Manager (formerly Adobe CQ5) for global brand websites and campaigns. A separate Web application is created for a new campaign, which also requires an interface to content management. Within the scope of the project, the preparation, realization and rollout of this web application is generally concerned. The web application primarily targets mobile devices. Other topics include the implementation of new functions, changes to existing components, search engine optimization, training for editors and project management. As is usual with campaigns, the realization period is short-term (until mid-October).
Tasks/Services:
For the project, we are looking for a web developer to provide the following services.
Technical and technical conception:
- Analysis of technical requirements and technical/technical conception
- Implementation of building blocks in the AEM context
- Realization of editorial processes and user interface elements
- Realization of roles and rights concepts
- Quality assurance
- Creation of unit and integration test
- Technical inspection and installation
- Technical project management
- Implementation of technical processes (built-to-release, quality assurance, user access control)
- Provide qualified feedback to agencies and other suppliers, taking into account the specific requirements of the client's platform implementation
- Realization of basic frameworks and concrete building blocks of the CMS application taking into account the possibilities of AEM and the underlying frameworks
- Elaboration of comprehensive concepts in the field of components and services, as well as monitoring the realization
Support:
- Controlling agencies in the creation of designs and prototypes based on the specific client platform
- Control of the infrastructure providers HostEurope and PlusServer
- Technical Skills
- Adobe Experience Manager (Certified Lead Developer or Certified Architect)
- Apache Sling, Apache Sightly, Apache Felix
- Java Enterprise, JavaServer Pages and Java Servlets, Java Standard Tag Library

- Configuration management with Ansible and Puppet
