QA Tester/Automation/REST API/Selenium/Cucumber/Calabash/HTTP/iOS/Android
- Primary focus will be mobile (iOS and Android) testing.
o If mobile: then someone with experience of testing and debugging native mobile apps on Android and iOS
o In any case: Need someone able to do at least the basic things like working with a relational database, basics of linux (eg log in, filter and monitor log files), understanding the REST API (the concept and how to test on the API level) and related to it: basics of HTTP protocol
Required skills and experience:
- Feeling comfortable in an agile environment and focusing on releasing the software changes as soon as the quality is good enough (for that context). Not looking for consultants that spent a lot of time writing documentation or who act as "quality gates" and slow down the release process beyond necessary
- Familiarity with different release strategies is a plus (eg staged release)
- Feeling comfortable close to production Servers. Once the code is deployed, you can quickly check in the monitoring systems how everything is working
- Required automation experience (web and/or and also would be nice on REST API level) and being familiar with what BDD is. This usually has to do with the tools such as Calabash, Selenium, Cucumber, RSpec, Capybara. Related topics are managing test data and test environments
