Für einen Kunden in München sind wir derzeit auf der Suche nach einem neuen Software Architekten (in Festanstellung).Projekt- und Tätigkeitsbeschreibung:
The Virtual Client (VC) project was initiated in 2012 to implement a virtualization solution aimed at providing more flexibility, to enhance productivity, increase security and business continuity. Building on other group projects like AGN (network), DCC (data center) and GIAM (identity mgmnt.), VC is being rolled out to the company’s employees worldwide replacing the local workplace solutions in the individual operating entities
Work in a cross-functional team that analyzes, designs, and implements architecture for projects.
Skill-Anforderungen:
Responsibilities / Tasks / Deliverables
? Design, delivery and evolution of the desktop and application platform against the architectural roadmap
? Analyzes new and existing architectures, researches solutions, specifies long term direction, and ensures engineering platforms meet expectations to enhance customer satisfaction
? Produce and maintain comprehensive documentation of the Virtualized Desktop Infrastructure (including topology representation, low level documentation)
? Support onboarding activities of new company entities from architectural perspective
Expected Skills / Experience
? Deep knowledge of hosting platforms (converged, hyper converged) and network infrastructure
? Experience of working in large enterprise environments
? Deep architectural knowledge around the following products:
Citrix product family (XenDesktop/XenApp, Provisioning Services, Netscaler, Storefront)
VMWare ESXi hypervisor
Appsense DesktopNow suite
Microsoft System Center Configuration Manager
