Overview:The external consultant advises in the area of Manufacturing / Warehousing / Quality Management of the Laundry & Homecare business of our client. The client is introducing a comprehensive business transformation program facilitating the implementation of a globally aligned and harmonized Supply Chain including Purchasing. For the first time they will be using an end-to-end, standardized supply chain process. This program is a key initiative for the scalable business model. The program with lean and simplified operations aims to enhance the client's competitiveness by leveraging on their combined potential, boosting process efficiency. The program will be implemented in clearly determined, overlapping phases clustering a defined number of countries
Required skills:
Strong technical expertise - logistics processes - SAP R/3; SD; WM; MM
Delivery processing (inbound, co-packing, replenishment and customer delivery)
Transport planning (OTM; TMS)
Transport execution (carrier determination, shipment processing) and transport equipment management
Warehouse operations and logistics cost settlement (precalculation)

Activities:
Consults client on Master Data validation and Master Data mapping for Logistic execution relevant Master Data Objects
Consults client on how they can implement and apply the technical provided processes to cover specific business and country requirements by supporting the A&D phase to define possible gaps during SAP implementation, including the Transfer of the result and aligning with project team the next steps
Advise on Key User Trainings
Development and/or updating of training material
Planning and execution of trainings for the key-users with the new SAP processes
Prepare Key Users for User Acceptance Test
Prepare Key Users for Cutover
User Acceptance Test
Advise on test case generation
Advise local key users and end users during testing activities
Advise in finding suitable technical solutions in case of test issues and coordinate ticket resolution process with local organizations and IBS
Escalation in case of issues
Cutover and Go-Live
Hyper Care
Advise local key users in escalating issues during hyper-care
Advise with post go-live trainings and Q&A sessions
Check problem reports written during hyper care and advise how to solve problems and how to find proper technical solutions
