Our client in Frankfurt Germany is looking for a Team Foundation Server Expert.
Project description:
Deploy and operate a Team Foundation server infrastructure and the associated SQL Server environment. Support of the customers (developers and project managers) for support cases and customising inquiries. Project planning and technical support for planned system updates.
Scope of work:
- Development of procedures for migrations/updates of TFS versions and related components
- Migration/update to upcoming Visual Studio and TFS versions as well as coordination of the migration/updates
- Coordination and communication with stakeholders and users.
- Protection of interference-free operation. Implementation of monitoring and stabilization measures.
- Customizing the TFS extension.
- Securing customer service for TFS use.
- Help to consolidate/complete TFS extensions.
- Analysis and preparation of operating surpluses of basic components of the TFS infrastructure to the internal service provider (IT Infrastructure).
- Help with the implementation of the license transparency and licensing consolidation of development products.
- Support for the implementation of governance requirements.
- Support for the introduction, maintenance and support of new and existing developer products.

Duration: December 2017 + 12 Months extensions

Must skill:
Very good knowledge and many years of practical experience in the administration and use of Team Foundation Server 3-5 years
Must skill:
Very good knowledge and experience with XML and TFS project templates, eg Project templates (Customizing 3-5 years
Must skill:
Basic knowledge of programming languages and development tools; Basic knowledge in XML, C #; Good knowledge and experience in administration of SQL Servers 1-3 years
Optional skill: First experiences in cloud and hybrid environments advantageous 1-3 years
