Technical Solution Architect (f/m)
Harvey Nash is a global Professional Services provider in the areas of Technology and Engineering Recruitment and Outsourcing. For our client, a global Insurance company focussing on Cologne we are looking for Technical Solution Architect on a freelance basis (f/m)

Tasks:
The scope of the mission is:
* Engineer, analyse and translate business requirements into technical solutions
* Design and scope solutions for local, regional and global projects taking into account customers strategy and market best practices
* Ensure successful implementation of designed solutions in collaboration with the PM
* Drive technical decisions throughout the full project life cycle
* Present to all levels of the organization (staff, management, governance boards)
* Work in close collaboration with application architecture teams of our customers, technical specialists in customers as well as with external providers and integrators Anticipate impact on infrastructure landscape
* Define solutions taking into account customers strategy and market best practices
* Ensure successful realization in an agile modus
* Collaborate closely with Business and IT starting at an early stage
Requirements:
* Multi-year experience Lead technical architect in an international environment, ideally in the Insurance or Bank business
* Excellent knowledge in cloud technologies and cloud frameworks based on Azure o and their usage profile as well as integration scenarios into Legacy environments
. Sound knowledge in key technology areas, like
. State of the art Operating Systems - Red Hat Enterprise Linux, Windows Server
. Virtualisation - ESX/VMWare, HyperV, Citrix
. Storage technologies & Archiving systems - Netapp, Centera, Hitachi SAN
. Directories/Authentication - (Oracle) LDAP, Active Directory, Siteminder)
. Databases - Oracle, SQL Server, noSQL Databases like Mongo
. Network - Protocols, Load Balancers, Security Systems (F5, Cisco, Checkpoint)
. Web-/Application Services - Jboss, WebLogic, WebSphere, Apache, IIS
. Application level security systems - WebApplication Firewall, XML-Gateway
. Enterprise Integration Systems - SAG WebMethods, Informatica, SAS
* Good understanding of tools and processes of the software development life cycle (Jenkins, Nexus, Maven, Subversion)
* Strong presentation skills//Good negotiation skills//Being a team player
* Experience with agile project management
Language:
* Excellent language skills ins German + English
