Our client in Essen is looking for a Data Scientist!
Please Note: CV must be in English.
Languages: English; German is a plus
Tasks:
- Apply Statistical and Machine Learning Techniques to gain
- Helping shape a completely new software product by applying Statistical and Machine Learning Techniques to gain business insights
- Design, implement and deploy predictive data services and machine learning models that create business value
- Develop and apply highly scalable algorithms to recognize patterns and trends in data and help us achieve more intelligent user experiences
- Deep-dive into the vast amount data available to us to identify key levers drive our business performance
- Use expert knowledge to prescribe suitable solutions and actions and work with our Back End development team to embed these into our product
Skills:
A professional (5+ years of working experience) with expertise in Econometrics, Operations Research, Business Analytics, Artificial Intelligence, Information Science, Technical Informatics or related subject.
Strong analytic skills, with knowledge of Machine Learning and/or AI. Azure ML expertise is a plus
Strong affinity with technologies R, Python or Scala
Experience with RDBMS, MongoDB, text files, JSON, Hadoop and/or Spark
Able to work fully integrated in a product development team. Agile working mode with short cycles with business and developers.
Presence in Essen is required 4 days a week. Very limited travelling might be required.
Able to fluently communicate in English (verbally and in writing)
Detail oriented, analytical, pragmatic and flexible
Strong communicator and a self-starter
Start: 01.02.2017
Duration: 3 months + extensions
Location: Essen
Rate: Market (all inclusive)
