Our client is currently looking for a Developer (m/f) Java for a project in Berlin.
Next to your typical engineering duties with activities such as software design, development and bug fixing you will be expected to collaborate closely with other dev teams, Site Operations as well as participate in discussions, give your opinion and your ideas and contribute to the solution of problems.
The main artifacts are written in Java 8. The client started to implement new services in Scala.
- Couple of years of Java development experience in a web based environment
- Keywords: Java, Spring, Spring MVC; Hibernate; maven; elasticsearch; Freemarker templates; Closure/Soy templates;
- Plus: javascript, jQuery
- Couple of years of database development experience
- Keywords: MySQL, SQL, Hibernate, mongodb
- Other tech keywords: Jenkins, JIRA, XML, REST, Scala, Guice, Javascript Frameworks (backbone, angular, ember), Sonar
- Strong design pattern experience and some architectural experience
- Experience with agile development methods (Keywords: Kanban, Scrum, TDD, Lean startup)
- Solid experience of using git source control
- Fluent English and excellent communication skills
- Will work in a cross-functional team; must be a team player; responsible; proactive; committed
- Required to work on-site in Dreilinden
Required languages: German and English
