Test & Operations Engineer Testlab WDM/OCS/Networks/Mobile/Intelligent Networks/ATM
In this environment, we have the following priorities:
*Mobile Access:
Test and operation of mobile radio systems for GSM, UMTS and LTE (eg RNC, BSC, NodeB, eNodeB)
*Transport network:
testing and operation of the transport network systems both in the field of IP/MPLS networks and multiplexer, WDM/DWDM systems, PDH/SDH systems, clock sources
*Core Network:
Test and operation of core network systems in the field Circuit Core (IMS, REL 4 MSS/MGW, UDB, ACTA MSS/MGW, STP) and (evolved) Packet Core (SGSN, GGSN, MME, SAEGW, CG) And DNS, DPI
*Service platforms:
Test and operation of service platforms in the mobile and/or fixed network (eg, SMSC, MMSC, PCRF, voicemail, OCS/Intelligent Network, AAA)
*Fixed Network:
Test and operation of fixed network platforms (xDSL, SIP) and related systems (eg DSLAM, BRAS, PKI, Security Gateway, Authentication Services), testing of xDSL solutions (voice, data) including the associated terminals ( CPE) of various manufacturers
*Operation Support Systems:
Test and operation of OSS systems (OMC, config management, alarm management, etc.) from different manufacturers and the corresponding interfaces and tools
*Infrastructure:
implementation of cabling work and measurements in the fields of data, power, and radio frequency distribution systems. Perception of formal responsibility for the customer laboratory as a trained electrician.Resource management of the technical infrastructure, as well as handling the installation and acceptance of test systems and components.
Task description (test/operation):
*Coordinate the necessary resources and the test procedure within the test and integration center with all involved areas
*Coordination of the planning and test sequence with the coordination and the client
*Creation of the test reports and all documentation necessary for the operation of the responsible systems
*Execution of a detailed error analysis for laboratory and network errors including the test of the solutions provided by the customer or system technology supplier
*Ensuring the operation as well as change and incident management of the responsible systems
Professional/personal requirements:
*Completed studies in communications engineering, comparable training or many years of experience in mobile and/or fixed network testing
*Very good knowledge of systems, architecture and functionality in mobile and/or fixed networks
*Knowledge in the area of the interfaces and the associated protocols in the relevant department is absolutely necessary
*Basic knowledge in the implementation of tests and tests as well as the associated test methods and test strategies. Usually a certification according to ISTQB
*It is an experience with network elements of different manufacturers in the respective department
*Good knowledge of MS Office applications
*Very high degree of self-initiative and teamwork, quick comprehension and willingness to become familiar with new topics
*Experience in dealing with internal and external customers
*Very good knowledge of English and German
*Electrical specialist according to DIN VDE 0105 (only for the main infrastructure)
