SAP POS DM/CAR consultant- 3 month contract
Our client requires a SAP POS DM consultant to be based at their offices in Germany on a 3 month contract.
Your role and responsibilities as the SAP POS DM consultant will be:
. Provide on-site subject-matter expertise to implement SAP POSDM
. Assures accurate analysis and design of SAP POSDM that meet specifications and requirements of projects and overall business needs
. Proven skills as a key player in at least one full cycle POSDM implementation
. Assures accurate implementation of applications and systems to support the environment that will provide up-to-date information to all areas and levels of the company.
. Assures timely completion of all assigned projects within the project expectations
The essential skills and experience required for the SAP POS DM consultant are:

SAP POSDM configuration in a SAP BW/SAP Retail environment, including POSDM profile building

CAR experience is essential

Understanding of SAP POSDM Sales Audit functionality

Understanding of configuration of SAP POSDM Business transaction types: Sales, Financials, Totals, Inventory and Reversals

Ability to read XML data structures for retail point of sale transaction data, and create SAP mapping specifications to convert the XML POS data into the necessary RFC structures for SAP POS DM

In depth understanding of ALE/IDOC processing to pass data from SAP POSDM (BI)

Create functional and technical specifications and perform unit and integration testing

Strong understanding of inventory principles in a retail environment

In-depth understanding of SAP Retail article master, assortments and layouts

Ability to accommodate a new POS data source with little guidance

In-depth understanding of the SAP POS DM Pipe processing module

Understanding of SAP FI module and integration between SAP FI and SD modules
