Project description: Deployment of Online charging solution at a Tier 1 European operator where F5 Networks platform is used as Load balancer for SIP and SOAP traffic between multiple applications.
Utilisation: Full utilization starting from Sep 17, long term involvement for CRs, support, etc.

Technical consultant for implementation and support of load balancing solutions of different network and IT protocols
Key knowledge & skills
• Good knowledge of Telco and IT industry standards bodies specifications and related technologies and ability to interpret/apply them
• Fixed and mobile architectures and technologies (IMS, Mobile Core, Billing & Mediation)
• Understanding of the principles of Load balancing, protocol gateways, protocol converters, IP networks
• Strong technical competence, communication skills
• proficiency in Linux, SQL, scripts and security.
• Knowledge in SIP and SOAP protocols is an advantage
Role & responsibilities
• Work closely with sales, delivery, product and support teams to evaluate customer requirements, design technical solutions, prepare statements of work and deploy cost-effective solutions
• Perform technical issues resolution together in cooperation with the product support team
• Comply with the timelines as per the project timeplan
• Provide technical sales support
• Design, develop and execute demonstrations and proofs of concept
• Participate in problem diagnosis or isolation
• Develop and maintain deep technical expertise of assigned group of products
• Contribute to RFx response
• Develop deep expertise of assigned product and lead the discussions with the product management or respective partner vendor
Education & experience
• University Degree in Telecommunications or equivalent
• Must demonstrate ownership and assume responsibility to drive resolution of issues
• Strong customer focus and solution orientation
• Excellent team player
• Must have fluency in both spoken and written German and English languages
