My client is looking for a freelancer on a short term project. The contract will last 4 weeks and you will only need to be onsite for the first week. The remaining 3 weeks you will be allowed to work from home.
My client is also willing to pay for accommodation whilst you will be onsite during the first week. Amazing opportunity to make €75 per hour in the comforts of your own home and also to work with Big Data Technologies such as Spark.
My client would be looking for a Python expert/freelancer with the following skills (- must have, + nice to have, ++ super nice to have):
-Experience in Python3 and established libraries (pandas, scikit, numpy etc.)
-Experience in data preparation and data transfer techniques
-Experience in creating data models
-Experience with ETL processes
+ Knowledge of the German language
++ Experience with Apache Spark/Aerospike DB
Task:
-Supporting the migration of the data preparation process to Python
-Increase Python knowledge base of the team members (6 ppl)
-Create a concept on how the data preparation process can best be done in Python
-Use pair-programming to implement the concept together
-Remote support if the expert is not on-site
-The data preparation process in essence consists of the transformation of tracking data to profile data
-Timeframe: roughly 4 weeks starting somewhere in November 2016
-Does not need to be on-site for the whole 4 weeks
+ setting up an Apache Spark/Aerospike DB
