Beschreibung

For our Client we are looking for someone who will be responsible for growing acceptance and awareness of TTFields therapy towards becoming a standard of care in the treatment of Glioblastoma. The candidate fully owns the process of developing Optune accounts in her / his region, starting with identifying high-potential accounts, converting them into TTFields centers of reference, and developing their ability to successfully prescribe TTFields to patients. The candidate interacts with all key stakeholders in her / his region, and is the face of company towards them. This position is field-based and requires extensive travel (60%-80%), primarily his/ her region and occasional in Europe. The candidate is an entrepreneur, self-starter, and achiever. He/she gets energized by hard work, building and growing a business, and by making a difference for patients suffering from brain cancer.
Responsibilities:
• Build long standing and solid relationship to existing and new Optune prescribers
• Identifies high potential prescribers by using her / his own experience, market data and customer interactions to understand the flow of GBM patients in her / his region, and succeeds in engaging them as reference centers for TTFields therapy.
• Certifies new centers, and subsequently develops with them programs and actions towards increasing the center's ability to attract, initiate, and successfully treat patients with TTFields.
• Increases therapy awareness amongst physicians, and works with them towards establishing the value proposition of TTF therapy towards all stakeholders (Neurosurgeons, Radiation oncologists, Neuro-oncologists, Oncologists).
• Other duties as requested
• Ensure activities comply with the applicable company Quality System requirements.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's Degree in business/science or equivalent
• Equivalent experience considered in lieu of degree
• 3-5 year experience in direct interaction with the healthcare system, preferably in neuro-oncology
• Experience working in a commercial function of either, a medical device company, a home service provider or a pharmaceutical company is a requirement. Multiple experiences in these fields are a plus.
Knowledge/Skills:
• Excellent interpersonal, oral and written communication- and negotiation skills
• Detailed oriented, highly organized and flexible
• Gets energized by hard work, and appreciates the challenges of market building in a fast-growing, lean organization.
• Ability to multitask and meet challenging deadlines
• Must be self-directed and able to complete projects with limited supervision
• Gets energized by working in a start-up environment. Is comfortable communicating job-specific needs, and capable of achieving goals by balancing market reality with company requirements.
• Solid working knowledge of Microsoft office (word, excel, PowerPoint) and Outlook
• German mother tongue and English a must, any other language a plus
