Aufgabe/Anforderung:
Der Berater sollte gute Entwicklerskills in den relevanten Skills mitbringen. Projekterfahrung in Data Analytics, BI, Data Mining und gern auch Big Data Kenntnisse aufweisen.
OBJECTIVE:
The main objective of this position is the day-to-day execution, support and documentation of data preparation, integration and analytics activities. This includes design and setup of a suitable platform to base Big Data projects on.
TASKS Description of most relevant tasks and responsibilities:
Data Analytics
System Responsibility
Communication & Interfaces - Identify, assess and transform source data into processable data sets
- Implement complex analytic pipelines and data flows between business systems and Big Data platform
- Process and prepare analysis of arbitrary data sets using typical Big Data tools
- Analyze large data sets with regard to finding patterns and generating information
- Recommend improvements in data generation and collection
- Work with data owners to formulate purposeful hypotheses
- Propose meaningful analytic approaches
- Verify/disprove hypotheses based on findings in data sets
- Transform verified hypotheses into actionable KPIs
- Visualize results using common toolset
- Maintain data inventory
- Support architecture and setup of Big Data platform
- Maintain efficient setup for supporting Big Data projects
- Develop and maintain suitable data models
- Monitor system performance and recommend improvements
- Ensure availabitity and scalability of Big Data platform
- Participate in regular Big Data team meetings
- Report to Data Analytics Manager IT
EDUCATION
EXPERIENCE
COMPETENCIES Bachelor’s degree in statistics, business informatics or similar education
Minimum 5 years professional experience
Expertise in data analytics and business intelligence, preferably data mining and Big Data
Practical experience in programming languages (Java, Python, R, Scala, SQL, …) and the Hadoop ecosystem (Spark, MapReduce, Hive, …)
Experience with visualizing data using common tools (QlikView, Lumira, Tableau, …)
Excellent communication, presentation and teaming capabilities
Business fluent English, German is a plus
Excellent analytical skills and a hands-on mentality
