Our client is looking for a Hardware developer for a six month contract.
The ideale candidate must have:
*) At least 3 years of Embedded Software Design and Implementation experience, ideally on a Microchip (PIC) architecture
*) Deep understanding of IoT device peripherals (especially Bluetooth, 2G modems, and GPS modules)
*) Solid programming experience in C and Assembler programming language
*) Experience with the PIC Microcontroller development environment (eg MPLAB)
*) Experience in interfacing different bus systems: I2C, SPI, UART
*) Optional: Experience in inertial measurement devices (Accelerometers and Gyros)
*) Willingness to relocate to Berlin, with travels to Frankfurt
Tasks:
*) Design, develop, code, test and debug system code of a low-power IoT hardware device (Power budget aware)
*) Implementation of application logic (State machines in C programming language) and interfacing to low level device drivers
*) Setup a test environment to simulate application logic and connections of device to AWS IoT Server connection
*) Debug and simulate device and it's on-board sensors
