Big Data Engineer & Scrum Master
Are you an experienced Big Data Engineer who has worked on enterprise scale projects? Would you like the opportunity to merge two Big Data projects of high importance together, acting as a Scrum Master driving agile development between both teams?

Location: Frankfurt
Salary: up to 850/day
Our client, a global financial organisation is current seeking a Big Data Engineer to integrate two Big Data projects together that have been previously running in parallel. You will be responsible for supporting the transition internally for the integration of a development project into our clients Hadoop environment. You will also be required to drive agile development within both teams, acting as a Scrum Master. This is a senior position within the team that is not only technical, but requires a high level of stakeholder management.
Responsibilities for the Big Data Engineer & Scrum Master will include (but not limited to):
- Work closely with lead engineers of multiple projects to understand approach and integrate projects
- Create the solution architecture required to merge the projects
- Manage high level stakeholders from multiple business units
- Drive agile development within two teams, acting as a Scrum Master
Skills required for the Big Data Engineer & Scrum Master include (but are not limited to):
- Proven experience as an Engineer in Big Data projects
- Strong technical knowledge around Hadoop, Cloudera, Kafka, Flume and Talend
- Experience in a leadership position, overseeing teams and managing internal stakeholders
- Scrum Master certification highly desirable
