Our client is currently looking for a Java Developer (m/f) for a project in Berlin/ Dreilinden.
- Write high quality code
- Refactor and improve the existing code base
- Participate in cross-team know-how distribution
- Think with your colleagues about architecture decisions and help work them out
- Continuously improve development work in all areas (coding, processes, tools, testing, etc.)
- Be a technical sparring partner to help the business create efficient and effective requirements
- Good understanding of design, implementation and operation of distributed services and APIs
- Solid experience with Java 8, Spring Framework, servlet containers, web technologies and SQL/NoSQL databases (bonus: Stripes Framework, distributed computing and micro services)
- Experienced in the maintenance and modernization of legacy software platforms
- Passion for agile software development, TDD and continuous delivery/deployment
- High aspiration for quality balanced with a good sense of pragmatism
- Excellent communication skills in English (German is a big plus)
