Our client is currently looking for a Database Administrator (m/f) for SQL for a project in Eschborn (Frankfurt).
- Installation, configuration and implementation of complex systems for multiple projects
- Architect, design and implement complex system configurations at an expert level in demanding customer environments.
- Directly interact with cross-functional teams and solution architects
- Plan and execute technical program including developing, validating, executing, and delegating project technical processes and procedures
- Escalation point for technical project issues
- Working with the various technology teams, vendors, and management of new hardware and operating systems infrastructure
- University Degree or College Diploma in Information Systems and demonstrated experience in the field of Information Technology.
- SQL Server RDBMS Database Administration
- Substantive experience providing database administration services in the following environments - MS SQL Server / require comprehensive knowledge, along with extensive and varied experience in these Log shipping, Configuring Standby Database, Replication, DB Mirroring, DB backup and Recovery
- Working experience in Installation, Backup, Restores / Refreshes, etc.
- Replication, DB Mirroring, Migration, Performance Tuning, Cluster environment and DTS/SSIS
- Good troubleshooting skill
- Good working knowledge of Windows XP/2000/Vista/2003 Operating environments
- Ability to perform installations, software upgrades, and apply patches
- Ability to formulate overall strategies and support development effort in areas of major difficulties and organizational complexity
- Strong team leadership and focus on results enabling businesses to operate more effectively
- Strong communications skills and ability to document and present complex designs to a wider audience
Required languages: Very good written and spoken English
